[Being a puddle would mean being able to hide...though that would require abandoning Beckett so maybe not.]

Whew. [So it was like Dr. Watson said, anomalies that just look like them.] That's a load off. Rumor has it, you've got an ooey-gooey anomaly out there with your face on it.

I- wh-...don't the anomalies only appear as people who have died?

[Once again, putting two and two together seems to pass him by...though he's at least a little shaken up so he's hardly to blame.]

That's what we thought. S'why I checked in. But Doc Watson says that maybe they're appearin' as alternate versions of us. We're all still tryin' to figure it out.

[That's what he did to them...was it like the anomalies that followed them before? The horrific surgery? How many had been in the conversion tower's cells?]

When Miller- were you one of the ones he rendered unconscious? Or with someone who was?

I've been gettin' some sleep lately thanks to him... Is this 'cause of somethin' he said? I thought we were the copies...

[Ugh. If he's a copy, what is this body? He just has to hope it doesn't really mean much of anything. He can't afford to let himself get distracted now. What a stupid way to die that would be, get taken by surprise by an anomaly because of existential fretting...]

I- we can't be sure yet. Regardless, there are two of us. He implied he was "borrowing" us to copy us. And this must be what he did with whichever he kept.

He turned copies of us into monsters? That is messed up, Enoch, and I got a lotta experience in messed up.

I know- believe me, I know.

[He remembers the anomalies that resembled people from home telling them all about what they went through to become anomalies. Enoch can only come to the conclusion that whatever happened to the copies (or whichever version Miller kept) was the same.

Was that what caused them all to scream through the night?]

He's a cruel man, and hopefully...hopefully Eve catches him this time.
