I know. I don't mean to say this isn't dangerous, and that he should have left on his own, but I understand his thinking. He knows Jack is dangerous, but Jack is also wounded. He wants to treat him, but does not want to put anyone in danger, and that means not taking you or anyone else with him.
At least the thought he might simply let him go is something to hope for. For now, hope is all we can give, while we try to find a means to help him.
I'm sorry if I sound scattered in my thinking. I do understand what Clayton wants. I really do. I'm relieved you do, as well. But I'm still so worried for him.
